You'll split your time between Lucerne, with its wooden bridges and lakeside old town, and Interlaken, wedged between two lakes and framed by the Jungfrau massif — and in between, you'll ride one of the country's legendary scenic routes, the Glacier Express or Bernina Express, as it winds through valleys, over viaducts and past glaciers most visitors only see in photographs.
